By clearing payments in Ethereum, I can cut the traditional sports bookout time while reducing costs from 10 percent to 2 percent lower because it was never processed by a bank or a 3rd party agency. Our platforms pair people to compete with each other, eliminating the need for meVu to fund and return bets. Interpersonal disputes in supported sports games are sent to Oracles who are incentivized to achieve resolution through consensus. Furthermore, reputation systems and leaderboards foster the spirit of competition and prevent malicious behavior.
